Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee Truong Cong Thai announced the decision approving the adjustment of the Dak Lak Provincial Master Plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
Under the adjusted Plan, Dak Lak aims to become a dynamic province of the country by 2030, a center for green economic development, and a key service hub of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions. The province will focus on renewing its growth model based on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; developing a green economy, circular economy, and marine economy; and building a synchronous and modern infrastructure system with strong regional and interregional connectivity.
The province’s development space is organized around three economic zones, three development corridors, two dynamic growth centers, and three growth poles. This structure is designed to maximize Dak Lak’s potential and advantages in the new development context, strengthen regional linkages, and create fresh momentum for long-term growth. By 2030, the province targets an average GRDP growth rate of at least 11% per year, GRDP per capita of approximately VND 164 million, and total social investment of over VND 676 trillion. By 2050, Dak Lak aims to become a development nucleus and strategic connectivity hub of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, as well as a modern, smart, distinctive, and livable urban area.
Speaking at the conference, provincial leaders emphasized that, following the merger, Dak Lak has entered a new stage of development with a larger development space, stronger resources, and a more strategic position. The province is expected to serve as an important gateway connecting the Central Highlands with the South Central Coast, and linking raw material areas with seaports, logistics systems, and domestic and international markets.
Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee Do Huu Huy delivered remarks at the Conference on the Announcement of Dak Lak Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion 2026.
Within the framework of the conference, the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee granted investment policy approvals and investment registration certificates to 25 projects with total registered capital of VND 40.294 trillion. These projects cover key sectors such as energy; transport infrastructure; industrial parks and clusters; urban development; industry; agriculture; trade; services; and tourism. The scale of registered investment interest demonstrates Dak Lak’s growing attractiveness after the adjustment of its master plan and the expansion of its development space.
Provincial leaders presented investment approvals, investment registration certificates, and cooperation agreements to enterprises and investors.

The Conference on the Announcement of Dak Lak Provincial Planning and Investment Promotion 2026 was not only an event to announce the province’s long-term development orientation, but also an important forum connecting local authorities, investors, and the business community. Through the event, Dak Lak reaffirmed its commitment to improving the investment environment, accelerating administrative reform, building a transparent and enabling government, and accompanying enterprises throughout the processes of project survey, preparation, implementation, and operation.
With a new development vision, an expanded development space, and strong interest from the business community, Dak Lak is now facing an important opportunity to transform its potential into real development resources, bring planning orientations into practice, and gradually realize its goal of becoming a major growth pole of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.
