On the afternoon of June 11, the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) signed a memorandum of understanding to implement the online training project "Enhancing Knowledge for Vietnamese SMEs". This project aims to implement the Politburo's Resolution 41-NQ/TW and the Government's Resolution 66/NQ-CP.

The project will run from 2024 to 2035, with the following goals:

1. Develop 500 courses by 2025 and 6,000 courses by 2035.

2. Ensure approximately 1.5 million businesses have access to free, high-quality courses.

3. Over 6,000 employees in SMEs will participate and benefit from these training courses.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong emphasized the crucial role of businesses in the economy and the importance of improving management skills, especially in the context of global economic fluctuations.

Nguyen Van Than, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of SMEs, stated that the project was designed based on a survey of business needs, providing market knowledge and connecting with potential customers. The project will also help businesses quickly access government policies and forecast economic trends to support suitable business model adjustments.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Association of SMEs expects the project to help the SME community in Vietnam develop and contribute more to the national economy.
