How to position Vietnamese brands in the international market?

The integration process has helped many Vietnamese businesses expand their export markets. However, the number of companies that have successfully built and positioned their own brands in the international market remains very limited.

At the seminar "Building Vietnamese Brands to Reach the World" organized by HUBA, speakers emphasized that a brand is not just a name but also a crucial asset for businesses. Dr. Hồ Xuân Hướng noted that companies need to focus not only on economic efficiency but also on making positive impacts on the environment and society to build customer trust.

Nguyễn Quốc Kỳ, Chairman of Vietravel Group, stressed that brand building must be accompanied by real action commitments, not just slogans. He suggested that businesses need to create added value and focus on customers to establish a sustainable brand. However, most Vietnamese companies still face challenges due to a lack of financial resources and human capital to implement long-term strategies.

Võ Thị Liên Hương from Secoin Company and Ashish Thukral from Mindshare Vietnam agreed that for Vietnamese brands to reach the global market, businesses need to create uniqueness, meet international standards, and continuously innovate. Additionally, companies should leverage digital technology and media to develop loyal customer communities and strengthen their brands on e-commerce platforms.
