Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung has just signed and issued Directive No. 01/CT-BKHDT on the implementation of key tasks for the last six months of 2024.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment has identified a key task of researching and implementing policies to support businesses in a challenging economic environment. The Minister has urged all departments to focus on institutional reform, decentralization, and addressing obstacles for businesses, particularly through large-scale and feasible policy initiatives. Additionally, the Ministry aims to promote new growth drivers such as chip technology, digital transformation, and green transition.

Furthermore, the Ministry plans to accelerate the disbursement of public investment funds, striving to achieve over 95% of the 2024 target, while also creating a favorable environment to attract private and FDI investments. The Ministry is also focusing on the implementation of planning, enhancing analytical and macroeconomic forecasting capabilities to meet sustainable economic development goals. Special attention is being given to the development of innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and the completion of legal frameworks for investment funds and regional and international financial centers.

Lastly, the Ministry has set 43 key projects and tasks to be completed, with the goal of ensuring progress and quality of work, while also updating the status of critical tasks in the Ministry’s management system.
